Paul Cannoli is a chef, author, journalist, model and award-winning podcast host. This site is his ode to Toronto, his hometown, his first love and his third favourite food city in Canada.

Follow Paul as he documents and explores Toronto’s culinary landscape. Never afraid to ask the hard questions or go against the grain, crawl into uncomfortable spaces or speak his mind. Cannoli is the man to get to the bottom of some of the issues that plague the industry. And, with his ever restless, inquisitive nature, Cannoli will never stop until he uncovers what truly makes Toronto’s, oftentimes, puzzling culinary industry tick.

“My goal with this site is to put the Toronto cook, the Toronto chef, the Toronto restaurant owner, the Toronto caterer, the Toronto small business owner, the dry goods delivery truck driver, the veg guy, the seafood sales rep, the Toronto farmers market foodie, the community organizer who makes street food festivals and neighborhood cookouts possible, on a pedestal and celebrate them, what they do and what they contribute to the city’s culinary and cultural landscape. Its not always easy for a lot of these folks, that’s why I’m here to document their plight.  Hopefully, I can enlighten and entertain folks while doing so.”

A lifelong cannoli fan, Paul Cannoli has dedicated his life to creating and curating some of the world’s best cannoli recipes. This site is home to some of his Toronto findings.

Paul Cannoli lives in Toronto’s Leslieville neighborhood with his ex-wife, four daughters and cat.
